"Mean" Jean! First A2Z Bowler to Win from the #5 seed! |
Westhampton, NY - August 23, 2002
"MEAN" Jean ethier, east quogue became the first bowler in the two year history of the a2Z bowling tour to win the tournament coming from the #5 seed this past friday night at westhampton bowl. ethier survived the first bracket elimination match by defeating josh bennett, speonk in a very tight match 204-203. ethier went on to defeat jennifer paxson, patchogue in the semifinal game. then, in the finals, the physically intimidating woman from east quogue (HAS to be at LEAST 5'2", 110 lbs! HUGE presence!) went on to win the adult handicap division championship by defeating cokey barton, east moriches.
ethier collected $175.00 for her first place finish!

Juniors: $360.00 Plus $1.00 per junior entry!

The 300 game funds will be handled like this if there is no 300 game bowled in a given division. The total 300 game fund for each division (Adult/Junior) will be divided into 50.00 denominations and split 25.00 each for each division. The money will be paid out from First place on down until the funds run out. The last paid out dollars MAY be less than 25.00. This process will take place AFTER the 4-game qualifyer has completed. The regular payout will be considered additional and will be distributed in the normal process. Keep in mind, if a 300 IS bowled, the above mentioned distribution does not apply.
