"The Prez"

A2Z has completed our 2nd season of the LI Summer Bowling Tour, and it was quite successful, too!  Many people MUST be thanked for their contributions to this success, but space does not permit all to be specifically named:

      

The proprietors & managers of:

 Port Jeff Bowl

East Islip Lanes

AMF Sayville Lanes and

Westhampton Lanes

 (can't run a tournament without lanes);

       Our score-getters (lane to lane with a clipboard and a smile);
      
       Wendy Drusin (behind the scenes, sorting the greens);

       "Momma Z" (data entry at the lap-top);

       The parents (MOST juniors have no licenses & transportation is the key for them;

       ...and most importantly...

       The bowlers, whose participation and support are much appreciated ( many have spent EVERY Friday night in pursuit of that "PERFECTO").

After more than a quarter-century involved in this game, it continues to amaze me as to how this highly competitive sport that we love, is like no other...

       the High-fives, the hugs, the "Nice shot"s, the "Great game"s, the "Gimme your e-mail address"s, the "Cya next week"s, the sense of humor that permits laughing to be a huge part of EVERY tournament!!

Thank for 12 memorable Friday nights to all of you...
